Aloha!

I hope you will make the time to worship with us either in person or here online for the special services during Holy Week. Of course, Sunday April 17th is Easter and we're excited to welcome many friends for that morning at both 8:00 and 10:30. See our EVENTS page for more specifics. Holy Communion will be offered on Maundy Thursday and Easter morning and the Good Friday service is always moving.

With our county COVID numbers staying low, masks are now optional, but still encouraged for those who may be vulnerable. Temperatures are not being taken, but registration will continue just in case there should be an outbreak. Physical distancing is encouraged, but the blue tape on the pews that's separated us has been removed. Hand sanitizers will continue to be available and suggested, and the sanctuary continues to be sanitized between services.

Since I will be in close proximity to most everyone, I will continue to wear a mask while interacting with people and while distributing Communion. I want all to feel safe to receive the Sacrament and to be able to communicate with me without apprehension.

As always, please monitor your own well-being before coming to church and if you aren't feeling well in any way, not just with possible COVID symptoms, please stay home and access the online services at ChristHilo.org/messages. We will look forward to welcoming you back once you're feeling well.

May God bless your journey to the Cross and then to the empty tomb!
