Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church, Hilo
Sunday Worship Services -- 8:00am and 10:30am
Special Lenten Services:
February 17th - 5:15pm Ash Wednesday Service followed by a Soup and Sandwich Supper
February 24th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th - 5:15pm: Lenten Service followed by a Soup and Sandwich Supper
Palm Sunday comes on March 28th this year, Maundy Thursday on April 1st,and Easter on April 4th.

Worship at Christ, Hilo follows a traditional, liturgical style. We have used Lutheran Book of Worship as our primary hymnal, and also music from With One Voice, but currently all music and liturgy is printed out in our bulletin. Lay people participate extensively in our worship as Ushers, Lectors, Communion Servers, and Assisting Ministers. The church choir sings regularly at the 10:30am worship service and once a month at the 8am service. After the early service we hold a fellowship coffee, where we share refreshments and conversation.
Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at both worship services and on major festivals.
Sunday Bible Studies and Sunday School are held at 9:20am year round.
