Worship at Christ, Hilo follows a traditional, liturgical style.  We use Lutheran Book of Worship as our primary hymnal, and also music from Lutheran Worship, Hymnal Supplement 98, and With One Voice.  Lay people participate extensively in our worship as Ushers, Lectors, Communion Servers, and Assisting Ministers.  The church choir, made up of youth (age 16 and up) and adults, sings regularly at the 10:30 A.M. worship service.  After every service we hold a fellowship coffee, where we share refreshments and Christian conversation. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at both worship services and on major festivals. Sunday Bible Studies and Sunday School are held at 9:15 A.M. year round.
